Shernelle Byer

Shernelle is a certified marketing professional with over 20 years’ experience in both the public and private sector.
Having relocated to the Turks and Caicos islands in 2010 to manage a marketing communications firm Shernelle returned to Barbados in 2012 to take up a position at one of the island’s financial institutions.

An endometriosis warrior and pcos cyster first diagnosed in 2014 shernelle understands fully the physical and emotional pain and struggles faced by other warriors and cysters. She is therefore passionate about the cause and believes that advocacy and sensitisation are critical in order to educate the population about these “invisible” illnesses.

As secretary she is responsible for disseminating communications about the association’s executives, members and partners. The secretary will work closely with the president of the BAEP and is the common liaison for incoming and outgoing mail correspondence.
